Crafts of the Russian North have been the subject of my scientific interest for more than 10 years. I have an ucation in costume design (specialty), I am a master of art history from the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial.

I am preparing to defend my PhD dissertation. That is why I regularly conduct expition trips, communicate with representatives of folk crafts and trades “on the ground” and am a member of the Russian Geographical Society.

In 2020, the All-Russian
Museum of Decorative Arts held its second biennial “Design and Made in Russia”. At that time, I was only involv in clothing, and there were no corresponding nominations in the competition, but for some reason I was incribly curious to try test different variations of your website to participate. The area closest to me was “home textiles”, so the first tablecloth was the result of a creative challenge to myself. What did you create for the Biennale? “Whirlpool”.

Are you talking about your Kalevala project? Will you tell us about it?
